Salman Khan, Aamir Khan Weren’t On Talking Terms On Andaz Apna Apna Sets, REVEALS Raveena Tandon

Andaz Apna Apna, a classic cult comedy, that a Bollywood lover can watch uncountable times witnessed some great moments between Aamir Khan, Salman Khan along with the leading actresses, Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor. But did you know that the superstars weren’t talking to each other during the shoot?

Yes, you heard it right. Raveena Tandon, in a recent interview spilled the beans about all that went behind the scenes. “It was fun as while we were shooting, none of us were speaking to each other. Sabke jhagade chal rahe the. Aamir and Salman weren’t talking to each other, Karisma and I weren’t talking and neither were Salman and Rajji (director). I don’t know how that film got made. But, it shows we are damn good actors (laughs). The boys tried to bring Karisma and me together. In fact, in the climax, there’s a scene where Karishma and I are tied to a pillar. Rajji said, ‘We won’t untie you, unless you talk to one another’. It was all so funny. I remember, while shooting scenes, we would all genuinely laugh a lot as the dialogues were so hilarious. Hamne maze bhi kiye aur jhagde bhi kiye,” said Raveena in a conversation with Hindustan Times.

Furthermore, the actress shared how her relationship with both the actors have evolved overtime, despite all the issues. “They are warm and loving people. In fact, I have a better friendship with Salman than Aamir today,” she shared.

Meanwhile, Andaz Apna Apna completed 25 years yesterday and took Twitter by storm. Few unseen shots from the film’s mahurat was shared on the Twitter handle Bollywoodirect. The photographs were captioned: “#25YearsOfAndazApnaApna. Some rare photos from the sets and muhurat of #AndazApnaApna. #SachinTendulkar was one of the guests at Muhurat.”
