Of the 147 straight Hindi films made in India (i.e. excluding those dubbed in Hindi from Hollywood or South language films and, of course, also excluding films made in India in English/English-Hindi), 84 had titles either in English or with English words in them. Yes, more than 50% of the Hindi films made had English titles (like Rascals, No One Killed Jessica) or part-English titles (like Shor In The City).
The month of October saw the maximum number (27) of releases, followed by August (26) and April (25).The lowest number of releases (13) was in the month of November. There were 20 releases in February, 19 in May, 18 in December, 17 in each of March and September, 16 in each of January and June and 15 in July.
