Baahubali filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli happens to be all busy helming his much-in-talks directorial venture, RRR. The film starring Jr.NTR and Ram Charan is one of the most awaited releases. Jr.NTR will be seen playing the role of Telangana freedom fighter Komaram Bheem.
As per a report in Times Of India, the director will be unveiling the first look poster of Temper actor on 22nd October i.e Komaram Bheem’s birth anniversary.
Jr.NTR won’t be the only male lead in the film, as the actor will also be seen sharing screen space with none other than South heartthrob Ram Charan, as the latter will be seen playing role of Indian revolutionary Alluri Sitarama Raju.
Talking about the film, the Baahubali maker in an earlier interview to IANS had said, “RRR is a fictional story set in 1920s pre-independent era. Most of us are well aware of the stories of Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. We know they are popular freedom fighters and were fearless. What most of us don’t know is that there are gaps in the lives of these revolutionaries that we don’t know about. We don’t know what happened in their lives in these years,”
“‘RRR’ will be a fictional story of what could have happened in the lives of Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem in those years when they had disappeared. What if they had met and trained themselves to fight for the same cause,” added the filmmaker
Bollywood actors Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt will be making their down South debut with RRR.
Alia in the film will be seen opposite Dhruva actor in lead.
RRR is slated for release mid next year.
