President Pranab Mukherjee To Watch ‘Talvar’ At The Rashtrapati Bhavan

There are only few heavy weight politicians in Delhi, who are avid movie watchers including Arvind Kejriwal who tweeted, “Watched ‘Drishyam’. A must watch”, after watching Drishyam.

The President of India Pranab Mukherjee who has barely watched two movies in his tenure is keen to watch ‘Talvar‘, which is based on the Aarushi Talwar Murder Case. Pranab Mukherjee recently contacted Meghna Gulzar the director of ‘Talvar‘ seeking a screening of her film at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on 25th October.

Meghna Gulzar confirmed the news & said to a leading daily that, “It’s an honour for us to host a screening for the President. We are looking forward to the screening and are obliged that the President has expressed his desire to watch our movie.”

‘Talvar‘ which released on 2nd October stars Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Neeraj Kabi and Sohum Shah in pivotal roles.
