Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar took the audience by storm with their film Special 26. They were about to collaborate yet again in Crack which was announced back in 2016. But the film was put on a backburner following the reports that the two had a fallout. Recently during the promotions of his new show Special Ops, Neeraj opened up about the fallout and here is what he had to say.
In 2016 announced Crack was said to be a franchise on the special forces and the audience and Akshay Kumar’s fans were left excited. But things did not work out and the film was put on hold. There were reports that Akshay and Neeraj had a fallout which the filmmaker has denied.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, the filmmaker when asked about his alleged fallout with the actor, said, “There has been no fall-out with Akshay, so, why the question of a reunion? I am moving on with Chanakya (led by Ajay Devgn) and he is doing other films. It’s a great responsibility for both of us and we have to wait for the right project.”
Further while talking about why the film did not see the light of the day yet, Neeraj Pandey added, “It’s on the back burner with no immediate plans of revival. I was not happy with the script, but if I manage to crack something good in the future, I might (revive it).”
Meanwhile, Neeraj Pandey recently made his web debut with his written show Special Ops directed by Shivam Nair. The series has impressed the audience and is getting amazing reviews.
