Karan Johar is one of the big shots of Bollywood and his bonding with Bollywood celebrities is well known. Apart from his over-the-top movies, the filmmaker has a share of controversies and makes it to the headlines on a daily basis. A recent video from his bash is doing rounds on social media and receiving the limelight for all the wrong reasons.
As per the video, Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Zoya Akhtar and others are seen enjoying the party. The video received mixed reactions with a section of netizens slamming the stars and Karan Johar for taking drugs, while others defending them.
Now joining the critics’ list is the Akali Dal’s MLA Manjindar Sirsa, who took a dig at Bollywood celebrities for violating the anti-drug law and also written to the commissioner of Mumbai Police regarding the same.
He also wrote an open letter to Bollywood saying that he wishes Bollywood stars had the guts to say sorry to the nation for breaking their trust.
“My open letter to Bollywood. Urging all to read and share, tagging Bollywood stars through Instagram and Twitter. We have #FanMoments with them; but now is the time for #QuestionMoment,” Sirsa tweeted.
