Malang starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani has so far raised the audience’s excitement quite successfully. From ‘one high to another’, the film’s promotions are doing wonders for the film and people now cannot wait to see the film on the big screen. CBFC – The Central Board of Film Certification have even given the film an ‘A’ certificate.
With the certificate, the board has also suggested some cuts and changes in the film. Aditya and Disha’s chemistry in the film is one of the USP of the film hence the board has decided to keep their steamy scene intact in the film. CBFC, however, had an objection with the scene where there is a mention of drugs and asked the makers of Malang to remove it.
According to reports in TOI, CBFC has suggested some verbal cuts wherever there is a use of drug-related terms like ‘ecstasy,’ ‘pot,’ and ‘joint.’ They have also asked the makers to chop off a scene involving a religious symbol. CBFC has also proposed to add a disclaimer with the film which will contain an important message. The makers must share that the cast of Malang does not support any kind of brutality or cruelties against women.
Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu will also be seen in pivotal roles also have the most intriguing looks in the film. The film also stars Elli AvrRam who will essay the role of Jessie and has an important role in the film.
