Ajay Devgn’s sports drama Maidaan has grabbed the spotlight again after the makers have started giving out glimpses. Making it bigger today are the new posters that have revealed Ajay’s first look from the film. While the actor looks vulnerable yet strong in the posters, below are all the details you would want to know and do not miss the posters.
The makers have released two posters this morning and Ajay’s fans are all geared up for the film. Ajay with the first poster wrote, “Yeh kahaani hai Indian football ke Golden phase ki aur uske sabse badey aur successful coach ki.#Maidaan.” The poster features Ajay in the first half. The actor in the close up can be seen in a never seen before avatar. Side parted hair, bushy moustache and loose T-shirt make him look appropriate for the period. The second half of the poster is an oblivion shot of the coach training the team while it is raining.
With the second poster the actor wrote, “Badlav lane ke liye ek akela bhi kafi hota hai” In this one we get to see a complete look of the central character. Dressed in formals, Ajay can be seen kicking a football, holding an umbrella and bag, with a light smile on his face.
Produced by Boney Kapoor, Maidaan is being directed by Amit Sharma. Ajay plays Syed Abdul Rahim, who was the manager and coach of the Indian Football team between 1950 to 1963. He was the one who led the team to the Asian Games and came home victorious. The film that is Ajay’s first multilingual project is set to hit the big screen on November 27, 2020.
