Kangana Ranaut To Speak At ‘Women In The World’ Summit

The 28 year-old-actress Kangana Ranaut, who won many accolades for her performances in her recent releases ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns‘ & ‘Queen’ is all set to fly to UK, to attend the prestigious ‘Women In The World’ summit where she will share her inspirational story with the world. Kangana will be the first actress from Bollywood to be a part of this summit.

‘Women In The World’ which is one of the most powerful summits, for starters is held annually to showcase the inspirational stories & vibrant voices of women, that illuminates the challenges faced by women & girls around the globe. Many International women icons like Angelina Jolie, Hillary Clinton, etc. have been a part of this summit in the past.

According to reports, the organizers of the summit thought that a conversation with Kangana will explore how as an artist, she boldly resisted the pressures & obstacles in her path, to eventually define herself as a new role model for India. Kangana will share the stage with other inspirational personalities like Meryl Streep, Carey Mulligan and Queen Rania of Jordan at the summit on 9th October.
