The news of the Hindi remake of Vijay Deverakonda’s Dear Comrade has just been creating waves in the Bollywood industry. Karan Johar broke it yesterday, and today the reports of Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles have been surfacing on the net.
But, it seems none of that news is true because there’s a clarification from the master himself. Karan Johar took to his Twitter and wishes all the success to Dear Comrade which is releasing on July 26th. But, he also said something about the Hindi remake of the film. Read more to know!
Karan tweeted, “All the best and big success to the team of #DearComradeOnJuly26th ! Also a CLARIFICATION! No lead actors have been considered or approached for the film as yet! The planning for this lovely film is underway!”

On Tuesday, after attending the special screening of “Dear Comrade“, Karan took to Twitter to praise the film. “Had the pleasure to be the first to see ‘Dear Comrade‘. What a powerful and intense love story!! Top-notch performances by Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna. The film is exceptionally moving and leaves you with such an important and relevant message,” he said.
He added that he was “super excited” to produce the project under his production banner Dharma Productions.
