The movie, which is the official remake of the 1973 film of the same name, also stars Sanjay Dutt playing the role that veteran actor Pran had played in the original. Produced by Reliance Entertainment, Amit Mehra and Flying Turtle Films, Zanjeer will release 10th May, 2013.

What a planned by Lakhia considering Ramcharan as amit and more a wooden face arjun rampal as pranji? How could he do this project with these wooden face actors?
Only priyanka n Prakash Raj can do some what judgement to their rolls. Ofcourse charan can dance well when comparing with most of the hindi actors but his hight , voice modulation n wooden face cannot help the ultimate movies remake to make a succesa.
