The Tiger 3 star said he was a fan of Aishwarya, and the show’s format made him say what he said. But he now reveals what went behind the curtains and how his statement even left Karan Johar speechless.

Emraan Hashmi told Bollywood Life, “Talking about Koffee With Karan, well I had to bear the brunt for it for quite some time for really calling a spade a spade. You know what, when that rapid-fire round happened, Karan had cut the shot, and he just looked around on the set and everyone was dumbfounded. He asked ‘Can you actually keep this (Emraan’s answer)?’ And a couple of people behind the camera said ‘Yes’.”

Emraan Hashmi on the professional front
On the professional front, Emraan Hashmi was last seen in Tiger 3. He played a negative role against Salman Khan. The film also starred Katrina Kaif and received a mixed response at the box office.
He will be next seen in the Hotstar series Showtime. Emraan will be playing a fictional character who calls a spade a spade, much like his avatar on Koffee With Karan.
