Since Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death, Kangana Ranaut has not stopped bashing nepotism in the industry. The actress talked about movie mafia in Bollywood and also how SSR lost several projects to star kids. What started in 2016 in Karan Johar’s show has become a big controversy in Bollywood today.
Often, the Queen actress talks about the unfair treatment of outsiders in Bollywood. She has claimed often that big production houses refuse to cast non-star kids or replace them with a star-kid. After Sushant’s demise, films that got shelved came into light. One such project was starring Kangana. The actress had refused to work alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Irrfan. Both the late actors are outsiders in Bollywood.
As reported by DNA, in 2016, Kangana Ranaut was offered a Homi Adajania film which starred Irrfan Khan. However, KR walked out of the project. At that time, the actress said she has date issues due to Rangoon’s shoot. In Rangoon, she worked alongside Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor.
Unfortunately, the film never came to life; neither with Sushant Singh Rajput or Irrfan Khan! Talking about Kangana Ranaut, at that time, a source had told PTI, “Homi (Adajania) has narrated the (story) idea to Kangana (Ranaut) and she is keen to work with him. But she is already committed to Hansal Mehta’s film after ‘Rangoon’. And the dates are clashing. But they have promised to work with each other in the future.”
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has officially joined Twitter last week. The actress shared a video and expressed her happiness of finally gracing the social media site.
