The grand success of Hollywood films in India since the last few years has caught much attention. While it has motivated many filmmakers and stars to think big, it has also given a competition alert.
Recently released Hollywood biggie Avengers: Endgame has done a humongous business at the Indian Box Office. The film didn’t just become first 300 crores grosser of Hollywood in India, it also smashed many big Bollywood records.
Now the situation is even Bollywood superstars are trying to avoid a clash with Hollywood biggies.
Ajay Devgn was asked about his and Luv Ranjan’s film’s clash with Aamir Khan’s next film Lal Singh Chaddha on Christmas 2020. Answering the question he hinted about his fear to clash with Hollywood biggie Avatar 2 instead. Ajay Devgn said, “We don’t know what is happening about the clash, that Luv will decide. I heard the same day Avatar is releasing in that case we both will have to run away. Avatar is big.”
Well, we can understand his fear because Avatar which released in 2009 has maintained to be the Highest Worldwide Grosser of All Time even after 10 years. The record is still unbeatable as Avengers: Endgame hasn’t chased it down yet. If the first part in 2009 did such a historic business, no one can imagine what it’s sequel will do.
However, the good news for Ajay and Aamir is that Avatar 2 is releasing on Christmas 2021 and not 2020.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn is busy promoting his upcoming film De De Pyaar De. The film also starring Rakulpreet and Tabu is slated to release on May 17, 2019. The film also marks the directorial debut of Bollywood film editor Akiv Ali.
