During a recent interview with Times Now, Chetan Bhagat opened up about the impact of negative press and blind items had on Sushant Singh Rajput. He said, “They broke him, the media reports broke him. It mattered to him when they called him a TV actor.” He added, “When you have allegations that he had done things to women without consent that is devastating for a man.”
Chetan Bhagat added that initially he too was affected by negative press, despite being a top author in the country.
Bhagat credited Sushant Singh Rajput and director Abhishek Kapoor for giving his film career a boost. The writer said, “No one wanted to produce Kai Po Che as it was based on Godhra riots in Gujarat.
