Shahid Kapoor is at the peak of his filmography since the portrayal of a rebel in Kabir Singh. While the actor is grabbing all the eyeballs, he’s already flooded with offers. Post the rumours about the remake of Nani Jersey, the latest is that the actor has been approached by Raj Kumar Gupta.
According to a recent report by Pinkvilla, multiple offers have landed in the actor’s kitty and one of them remains to be Raid director Raj Kumar Gupta’s next based on a real-life story. “Shahid has become the go to guy for producers and directors after Kabir Singh. It’s surprising how it took everyone one big film to notice his talent when he has been doing some wonderful cinema all along. Among the many offers Shahid is considering, is a film that will be helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta. The film is still in ideation stage and the director is getting the script in place before formally making an offer to Shahid. He just knows the concept of the movie, which is yet again a real-life drama and he will decide on the film only after hearing a narration,” revealed a source close to the development.
Looks like its Shasha all the way and how!
Meanwhile, the reports around Nani jersey remake were recently rife, with reports suggesting that the actor has demanded a whopping 40 crores as his fee. Shahid is said to be in conversation with the makers and is about to sign on the dotted line. However, the actor has demanded for a fee which is as huge as 40 crores! It is also being said that the rights of the remake has been acquired by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions.
For the uninitiated, the original movie, Jersey, starred Nani and Shraddha Srinath and was reportedly made on a budget of 30 crores, which is lesser than Shahid’s demand.
