It was recently announced by Salman Khan on Twitter that his upcoming biggie Inshallah starring Alia Bhatt opposite him and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been postponed.
“The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!” he tweeted.
Now, team Laxmmi Bomb which stars Akshay Kumar in lead and has Kiara Advani opposite has taken the benefit of the situation by taking over the big release period.
Yes, the makers of Laxmmi Bomb have decided to release the film on May 22, 2020 and there can’t be any bigger news than this for the fans of Akshay.
Interestingly, Akshay’s Sooryavanshi was earlier slated to release on same period but when Salman requested Rohit Shetty, the director of Sooryavanshi, he happily changed the release of the film to 27 March 2020.
Earlier the director of Laxmmi Bomb, Raghava Lawrence had a fallout with the makers as he had some issues. Later when the issues were resolved, he took to twitter to announce that he’s back on board as director of the film, a remake of his own Tamil blockbuster ‘Kanchana‘.
“I am back on board as a director of ‘Laxmmi Bomb‘. A big thank you to Akshay Kumar sir to understand my feelings and sorting all issues. Another thank you to my producer Shabinaa Khan for the same. Thanks to both for giving me respect,” Lawrence said.
He added that he’s really happy to be part of the project again.
