Aamir Khan who has been touring the drought hit areas across Maharashtra has now adopted two villages. The star has been spreading awareness for the cause of water conservation and watershed management.
From the worst hit region, Marathwada, the actor has adopted the villages of Tal and Koregaon. The is the second time Aamir has taken a step like that, he had previously adopted a village in Kutch after a severe earthquake had devastated the region.
The actor’s NGO Paani foundation works for the cause of water conservation. Recently, Akshay Kumar too donated 50 lacs for the same cause.
Maharashtra is facing a lot of water crisis and with this kind of help from the stars, it is going to be a huge relief to the region.
