Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha was supposed to release on Christmas this year, but the almighty had some other plans for earth. It’s definitely pushed for next year as Diwali and Christmas holidays (if it happens) will be benefited by Salman Khan’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai and Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi.
Laal Singh Chaddha has been shot in various locations such as Kolkata, Delhi, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, and Amritsar. Regarding this, Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan had still some shoot left in Ladakh and Delhi.
The shoot was halted in March due to obvious reasons and there were reports that Aamir Khan won’t resume the shoot until and unless everything’s not safe to go. It’s also been said that the team won’t resume the shoot till October.
Also, now post the tension between India & China after the unfortunate clash at Galwan Valley, it’s been reported that Aamir Khan has called-off the Ladakh schedule of Laal Singh Chaddha.
A source close to Mid-Day reports, “Given the current scenario, shooting in Ladakh is out of the question. So, Aamir, Advait, and the top brass at the studio are considering shifting the venue to Kargil. The final call will be taken in the coming weeks.”
It also adds, “He also pointed out that some countries that opened up are now experiencing a second wave of the virus. Though a significant portion of the movie remains to be filmed, the creators and the studio have unanimously decided to exercise caution and hold off the shoot for now.”
