After a unique Wrestlemania 36 last month, WWE is gearing up for its next main event, Money In The Bank. And seems like the pay per view is going to be more interesting now as AJ Styles has qualified for the ladder match. The 42-year-old veteran was defeated by the legend, The Undertaker, in the Boneyard match at Wrestlemania.
After his contest at the biggest stage of WWE, Styles appeared during the latest episode of RAW and secured his spot in Money In The Bank ladder match by defeating Humberto Carillo. Interestingly, it is learnt that Styles return was put on a hold for a longer period of time but he appeared on the latest episode, as planned by the company at the very last moment. But do you really know the reason behind his return?
Reportedly, the television ratings of WWE’s weekly shows are facing a big drop and bringing such popular faces is just an attempt to escalate the numbers. Apart from Styles, Randy Orton and Edge will also make their return to the RAW, next week.
Well, it seems like the company is really trying its hard to bring a life in their sliding tv ratings.
Meanwhile, recently WWE announced the release of several superstars from its rosters as a cost-cutting measure.
A total of 19 wrestlers, including Kurt Angle, have come to terms with the WWE which is currently trying to deal with the economic slowdown because of COVID-19 which has brought the entire world to a standstill.
