The Paper Season 2- September 10
Fresh off a historic sweep at the Ohio Journalism Awards, editor-in-chief Ned Sampson (played by Domhnall Gleeson) enters the newsroom in a triumphant mood. Eager to keep the momentum going and solidify the Toledo Truth Teller’s revival, Ned goes on the hunt for a massive “crusade” piece. He sets his sights on exposing a corrupt local private club, a dangerous investigation that quickly begins to jeopardize the paper’s financial backing and safety.
