Shikara is one upcoming Bollywood film which is based on one of the most heart wrenching topics of modern Indian history. The trailers of the film have been well accepted and just few days from now, it will be out in cinemas.
The makers of Shikara released a video today in which they have shared how they had only two hours to shoot for a sequence in a volatile district of Kashmir. The task was quite a challenge and it’s interesting to see how they did it.
Giving us a glimpse into all that went into the making of Shikara, the makers took to their social media and posted, “This film crew was given only 2 hours to shoot a scene in a volatile district of Kashmir. How did they pull it off? Watch #ShikaraDiaries:

In the video, we can see the cast and crew of Shikara shooting in Amira Kadal district of Kashmir where there is the presence of armed police and the team of the film wrapped in the tensed aura. Vidhu Vinod Chopra made sure he got the scene right on the first day of the shoot and the entire team also made sure to wrap it up in the given time.

Shikara is one of the most anticipated movies of this year. The film is inspired by Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s own life and is a tribute by the director to his mother. ‘Shikara’ brings back the untold story of Kashmiri pandits from the valley of 1990 and has 40,000 real migrants of Jagti and other camps who actually shot for the film. The movie also has actual footage from the exodus included which brings it even closer to reality.
