Actor Sharad Kelkar has carved a niche for himself with stellar performances on not just the silver screen but also on the small screen. Sharad, who started of his acting career with the Doordarshan soap, Aakrosh went on to do shows like Saath Pheroon Mein and Bairi Piya. He then made his Bollywood entry with films like Ram Leela and Lai Bhaari.
And now, as the actor gears up for the release of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, he reveals that he has been approached by the makers of Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss for every season! Yes, you read that! Sharad, who has been part of reality shows like Nach Baliye said that though he is approached by the makers of Bigg Boss for every seasons he ends up turning them down.
And now, finally explaining his reasons for not being a part of the show, Sharad has been quoted by Bollywood Life saying, “I don’t know a thing about it and I haven’t seen a single screen frame of it. They (makers) call me every time. Since the time it started, every year they have called me. All the seasons.”
He further went on to say, “My personal life is my personal life. I can’t share it with anyone, that’s the first thing. I am not a guy who can be pretentious. I am the way I am, I cannot be someone else on the screen and act 24×7.”
Meanwhile, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior features Ajay Devgn in the titular role and is slated for a release on the 10th January 2020. The film also features Saif Ali Khan, Kajol and Sharad Kelkar in pivotal roles.
