A few days ago, Karanvir Bohra shared a video meme of the show Ramayan. This didn’t go well with netizens who slammed the actor. Following the backlash, a lot of people demanded an apology for disrespecting gods. But Bohra said that he won’t apologize as he hasn’t disrespected any god.
The meme is from a war scene in Ramayan ft. Sunil Lahri aka Laxman. A man in the background is dancing instead of fighting. To make it funny, song Chogada is played in the background. Karanvir Bohra shared the meme on his Instagram page. He captioned it, “I had to post this and we used to think, what an epic war they created, just like @gameofthrones.”
About not apologizing, Karanvir Bohra told Hindustan Times, “I didn’t disrespect the gods because I’m a devout Hindu and a very spiritual being, thanks to my upbringing. The meme was about an extra who was dancing instead of engaging in the war.”
