In the fast-moving and changing life, no one had ever thought that people will sit in front of the TV along with their family everyday and watch old Indian mythological shows. It all started with Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan being re-telecasted on Doordarshan and receiving a warm response from the locked-down audience.
After Ramayan became a huge hit and broke records on TV yet again, the makers re-telecasted Mahabharat and Shri Krishna too which again received a great response.
Now we hear that another Indian mythological show Vishnupuran is set to hit the Indian TV and it’s Nitish Bharadwaj’s Vishnupuran.
DD National itself made the big announcement on Twitter. Have a look:

Meanwhile, Doordarshan has also announced that they are bringing back Doosra Keval, an old serial featuring superstar Shah Rukh Khan in his early days as an actor.
A tweet on the official handle of Doordarshan read: “Coming soon – #DoosraKeval starring @iamsrk on @RetroDD”.
“Doosra Keval”, a limited-episode show, released in 1989. Shah Rukh played the role of Keval, a village boy who goes to town and never returns.
