Toxic Movie Review Quicker: Yash Promises A Stylish Banger As Audience Hoot To ‘Meri Mother Tongue Hi Violence Hai’—This World Is Something!

Have you ever witnessed the massive popularity of a relatively South Indian star in the North Indian theater? Forget that, the hysteria of a South Indian star in a tier two city in the North? No? Then walk into any theater today and witness the madness for Toxic. Trust me, I have walked into a jam-packed theater on a Wednesday morning at 10.30 to watch Yash’s madness, with this almost 800-seater theater booked from the bottom to the top row to watch the world Geetu Mohandas created! I say, let the madness begin!

The film starts with Yash announcing ‘Rukawat ke liye khed hai’ and the Hindi audience welcomes with one of the loudest roars I have ever heard for a superstar! But it is only the voice, you get introduced to Kiara Advani first, even before the credits roll!

The film’s backstory looks interesting, and Kiara Advani has created the perfect intrigue in the first 10 minutes before Yash makes one of the most dapper on-screen entrances of his career!

The World Creates An Impact!

The film’s mood is rowdy, but the look it creates is brilliant! The world of Toxic is introduced with Yash playing his son, and the story quickly transforms into a beast! With Nayanthara and Huma Qureshi both joining this world in the first 20 minutes, the film takes off well!

The Background Score

Ravi Basrur’s background music is stylized, elevating the film and its class very aptly! The characters get introduced with a distinct hook. The violence and the intimacy both receive very distinct scores, and you are already trapped in the film!

The Pacing

Geetu Mohandas is taking her sweet time to build this world, and till now, it is not a problem! But if the pace is sustained, it might create an issue by the time the first half reaches its high point!

Till now, Toxic is keeping the audience hooked and intact with Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria, all holding up the fort very strongly with Yash! Hopefully, the world keeps us hooked and busy till the end!
