Actress Nivetha Thomas who was last seen on the big screen a few months back in Telugu venture Brochevarevarura, is all excited about AR Murugadoss’ Darbar.

The actress who recently wrapped up the magnum opus, a couple of days back took Twitter to unveil her role and megastar Rajinikanth’s character name. After playing Kamal Hassan’s daughter in Papanasam, Nivetha will now be playing Rajini’s daughter and the Robot actor will be playing a character named Aaditya Arunachalam.

The actress tweeted saying,”And now for the world to know! There is and will only be ONE #AadityaArunachalam. And he, is MY Appa. Watch! Out!#Darbar.”

Talking about Rajinikanth, the actor post wrapping up Darbar took a small spiritual break last week and is now back home in Chennai.

The megastar will soon start preparing for his character in his next which has been tentatively titled #Thalaiva168 by his fans. The film will go on floors in December and will be helmed by Siruthai Siva and will be produced by Sun Pictures.

Coming back to Darbar, the film has actress Nayanthara opposite Rajinikanth in lead role along with Suniel Shetty, Parteik Babbar, Yogi Babu and others in pivotal roles.

The Murugadoss directorial will have Rajinikanth in action avatar, as after a long gap of 27 years, the megastar will be seen as a cop on the big screen.

Darbar is slated to hit the big screen on 14th January 2020 on auspicious occasion Pongal.
