Megastar Rajinikanth’s fans have got a very exciting reason to celebrate. The makers of Thalaiavar’s much-anticipated release Darbar has officially confirmed that fans and cine-goers will soon be receiving a treat in the form of the first single track which has been titled Chumma Kizhi.

It was yesterday when the makers took the film’s production company Lyca’s twitter account to announce the news, as they along with a video featuring the film’s music composer tweeted: “Kannungala #ChummaKizhi’ka ready ya? Thalaivar’in #DARBAR 1st single from

Chumma Kizhi has been sung by legendary singer S.P Balasubrahmayam, the lyrics have been penned by Lyricist Vivek and it is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Talking about the film, it was early this month when the makers unveiled the motion poster of the film and it was very well received by cine-goers all across.

The action thriller has Rajinikanth as a cop. The veteran actor was last seen as a Police 27 years back in his 1992 release Pandiyan.

Darbar has actress Nayanthara in lead along with Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Yogi Babu, Nivetha Thomas and others in major roles.

The Rajinikanth starrer is been helmed by star director AR Murugadoss.

Darbar will hit big screens on 9th January in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
