After the grand success of Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 1, the fans are crazily waiting for the second instalment i.e. KGF: Chapter 2 to hit the screens. Amidst all the anticipation, a few days ago, the shoot was halted as ordered by the High Court but now there’s good news for all the fans.
The Karnataka High Court’s Justice Krishna Dixit granted a permission to resume the shoot at Cyanide Hills in Kolar Gold Fields of Kolar district. Till the next date of hearing comes, the makers can carry out their shoot. The notice regarding the same has been sent to N Srinivas and Karnataka Film Chamber Of Commerce.
Last month, a local resident named Srinivasa raised an objection against the makers for causing damage to Cyanide Hills, the place at which the shoot is taken place in Kolar Gold Fields. Considering the issue, the court ordered a halt to the shoot.
Following the order, the producer, director and cinematographer of the movie, filed a petition before the High Court. They mentioned that the shoot will be completed within 25 days, without causing any damage to environment. The makers have also decided to plant 500 saplings.
KGF: Chapter 2 which is touted to release in next year, also stars Raveena Tandon in a crucial role. The cast of the first film will also returns, and the sequel, like chapter one, is directed by Prashant Neel.
