Zayn Malik is always making headlines for some or the other reason. From having a daughter with supermodel Gigi Hadid to her younger sister Waliyha getting married in Bradford, the British singer never misses a chance to steal the limelight.
Reportedly, the police had to break into Zayn’s sister’s wedding in Bradford for not following the COVID-19 rules.
Around 40 guests attended the wedding of Waliyha and it took place at Zayn Malik’s younger sister Saffa’s place in Bradford. On the contrary, the city is in tier 3 and only 15 people are supposed to attend the events which led to all the relatives and guests paying a fine to the authorities.

Zayn Malik’s younger sister has got hitched with her ex-convict partner, Junaid Khan. Junaid was reportedly jailed for five years in 2017 for a carjacking incident. The incident took place when the convict and his accomplice, Adam Takolia, followed Seat Leon Cupra before confronting a vulnerable old woman on her driveway in Skipton.
According to the Daily Mail, the police came to the venue around 6 after the neighbours registered a complaint. A fixed fine and penalty was imposed on all the guests.
A spokesman told the publication, “Police attended an address just after 6pm on Saturday evening following a report of a large party. A group of people were fined inside the address and fixed penalty notices were issued as a breach of coronavirus restrictions had been committed.”
Zayn Malik’s father, who lives just 100 metres away from Saffa’s place, didn’t attend Waliyha’s wedding owing to Junaid’s criminal background. The singer also couldn’t attend the wedding because of work commitments, although Gigi Hadid took to the comment section of Waliyha’s wedding post and wrote, “Wish I could be there so happy for u. Big love x.”
