Most of us have grown up listening to the very famous pop band One Direction. They have ruled for several years and were the youth icons of their time. Harry Styles, 26, Liam Payne, 27, Niall Horan, 26, Louis Tomlinson, 28, and Zayn Malik, 27, formed 1D in 2010. Unfortunately, a million hearts broke after the pop band announced their split in 2016.
Every One direction fan here secretly hopes for them to reunite. However, that is not happening anytime soon. But we have another disheartening news for all of you. Read on to know more.
According to reports in The Sun, One Direction’s waxworks have been removed from Madame Tussauds in London. The waxworks were displayed for seven years. The figures of the much-loved boy band, who split in 2016, were moved off the floor of the tourist attraction this week.
Despite the solo success of all the members, there are no plans for the singers to be displayed alone. The Boy band was formed on the X Factor when Simon Cowell put them together. Each member auditioned for the show separately but failed to make it to the Judge’s Houses stage as solo acts.
One of the band members, Liam Payne had revealed the possibility of One Direction’s reunion for the band’s 10th anniversary. But that did not happen. Before the anniversary the 26-year-old had said that he and his bandmates are in the middle of something special.
He added: “I always put it down to music language because everyone’s releasing at the moment with like two years worth of promo. But, you know, it still seems very hopeful in that department. I’m starting to think it’s gonna happen at some point. So it’s exciting.”
