One Direction’s breakup was one of the saddest breakups of this decade. The boy-band split up in 2016 to pursue their solo careers and since then they haven’t been seen performing together. The band consists of Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson.
Recently, Liam in an interview with The Sun hinted for a One Direction reunion and since then the fans have been going gaga over the news. Adding to it, Liam has officially confirmed the news in an Instagram live with DJ Alesso.
The band’s 10th anniversary is due this month and since then the buzz about their reunion is going stronger than ever. In an Instagram live, Alesso and Liam were flooded with One Direction questions by their fans to which Alesso said, “Oh my god dude… there’s so many One Direction questions. But I feel like I don’t want to put you on the spot because I know you can’t say too much.”
Liam then opened up and said that Niall and he are discussing on FaceTime about the same lately. “Most of us are in London, we’ve been trying to arrange the first group FaceTime with the boys at the moment.”
He further added, “I can’t say too much. Louis told me off for revealing a bit of our plans the other day, so you’re going to have the group chat telling me off.” “Oooh, wow, the whole world is about explode,” Alesso replied.
Replying to Alesso, Liam said, “You can come in and fill in for Zayn and join the band.” Well, this is the best news we have heard in the entire lockdown till now. We can’t wait to watch them singing together back on the screen.
