Mexican Actor Raymundo Capetillo Dies At 76 After Getting Infected With COVID-19

The global pandemic of COVID-19 has proven destruction for the world entertainment scenario. Mexican actor Raymundo Capetillo, who is famous for his roles in Spanish soap operas, dies at 76 after getting infected with Coronavirus.

The official announcement of his death was made by “Extensión Cultural INBAL,” which is a Mexican government Twitter account. The Tweet read, “We deeply regret the sensitive death of the first actor Raymundo Capetillo. In addition to his career in film, theater, and television, he was a committed promoter of reading throughout the country.”

Raymundo Capetillo’s niece Tanya Roberta has recently made press statements. As per the statement, Capetillo was hospitalized in Mexico after getting infected with Coronavirus. His colleague Ella Laboriel also stated Capetillo was hospitalized since July 5th.

Raymundo Capetillo started his acting career in the 1960s. He had made amazing performances in theatre, television, and motion pictures. He was quite famous for his performances in popular soap operas, such as “Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse,” “Rosa Salvaje” and “Cadenas de Amargura.”

Actress Laura Zapata also is very upset about Capetillo’s demise. She took to Twitter and posted, “With a broken soul I receive the news that my beloved dear friend of all life @RayCape1 has just left, he began his flight back to the Lord’s House!!! QDEP. I’m going to miss you, my friend.”
