The controversial row between Ray Fisher and Joss Whedon, who took over Justice League’s direction after Zack Snyder left, refuses to slow down. Now, the fight has just got intense as Jason Momoa has come out in support of his co-star.
The controversy traces down to July when Ray called out Whedon for his unprofessional and abusive behaviour while making the film. He also alleged that producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg gave a blind eye to the filmmaker’s inappropriate behaviour. Considering the seriousness of the issue, Warner Bros. even conducted an investigation but the executives accused Ray of not cooperating.
Now, amidst all, Ray Fisher’s Justice League co-star Jason Momoa aka Aquaman has shown his support for Cyborg. He took to his Instagram stories and posted a pic featuring Ray from San Diego Comic-Con panel and wrote, “#IstandWithRayFisher”.

Meanwhile, claiming Ray’s non-cooperation in the investigation, Warner Bros. had stated, “Mr Fisher insisted that WarnerMedia hire an independent third-party investigator. This investigator has attempted multiple times to meet with Mr Fisher to discuss his concerns but, to date, Mr Fisher has declined to speak to the investigator. Warner Bros. remains committed to accountability and to the well-being of every cast and crew member on each of its productions. It also remains committed to investigating any specific and credible allegation of misconduct, which thus far Mr Fisher has failed to provide.”
Soon after this statement, Ray Fisher quashed all claims of non-cooperation by sharing an email between him and the studios dated someday in August. Later he also shared a video on Instagram where he gave further evidence of his interaction with DC films head Walter Hamada.
