The excitement level amid fans has skyrocketed as James Gunn announced the DC FanDome yesterday. But now, what if we tell you Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will also be a part of the event with his anticipated film Black Adam?
Yes, you read that right. The first-ever FanDome is scheduled for August 22 this year. The event will be a one-day virtual treat, where there will be numerous updates about the DC films announced. The event will have all the projects under DC and CW, including Zack Snyder Cut Of Justice League.
The guest list at DC FanDome isn’t announced yet, but Suicide Squad director James Gunn has promised his and the cast’s presence. Also in attendance will be our beloved The Rock. Dwayne Johnson has not yet made his debut with the giant, but there have been reports for a very long time. Reports also claimed that the actor has been trying to make Black Adam since 2008. It was 2014, that he was officially announced as the lead. The film finally got a green signal and is now scheduled for a December 2021 release.
The Rock took to Instagram to confirm that he will be attending the anticipated DC FanDome. Sharing a fiery look of Black Adam in a video, the actor wrote, “The hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is about to change. I will be joining the epic and first of its kind, #DCFanDome on 08.22.20. This one is for YOU – THE FANS. #BlackAdam.”
DC FanDome is anticipated because a lot is expected from this event. Fans may get to witness fresh footage from their awaited films. As for Black Adam, the film has not yet gone on floors, so we can’t expect any footage as of yet. But The Rock’s very infectious presence on the stage is enough for his fans! We are counting days now!
