JK Rowling gifted us the magical world of Hogwarts with Harry Potter movies. A few years later, with Fantastic Beasts, she showed us there are more magical worlds apart from Hogwarts. If Harry was the greatest wizard of his time, Newt Scamander was a phenomenal Magizoologist before that. If Voldermort wanted to wreck the good magical world, Gellert Grindelwald had caused terror during his time.
After two amazing movies – Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald, all eyes are on the third movie. Actors Eddie Redmayne and Johnny Depp play the roles of Newt Scamander and Grindelwald. The second movie saw actor Jude Law essay the Young Dumbledore and actress Fiona Glascott portrayed young Minerva McGonagall.
If you think those are the only Harry Potter characters to appear in Fantastic Beasts franchise, you’re mistaken. The third part will have two crucial characters making an entry. These two characters were the pillars of all the HP movies from start to the end.
As reported by The Movie Dweeb, the third part will have younger Tom Riddle and younger Rubeus Hagrid making an entry. FB actor Don Fogler reacted to the same news. He said, “There could be that Hagrid crossover, which would be very interesting. Is that what people are saying? I didn’t know that.”
The Fantastic Beasts actor added, “I always thought about that because I love Hagrid. Who doesn’t love Hagrid?” Fogler added before proposing that his character, muggle Jacob Kowalski, becomes Hagrid’s adopted father.”
Don Fogler further quipped, “[Hagrid’s mother Fridwulfa] is there and she comes to Newt and she’s like, ‘I have my baby boy, can you take care of him?’ And Newt is like, ‘Well, I’m a little busy.’ And there’s me, ‘Alright, I’ll take care of this giant kid’. I thought that would be a fun connection there.”
I would be great to see these two pivotal characters making an entry in Fantastic Beasts 3. After all, who doesn’t want Johnny Depp‘s Grindelwald to meet young Voldermort?
