Inches away from surpassing Masters of the Universe

Masters of the Universe is a big-budget fantasy movie with a strong cast led by Nicholas Galitzine, with Jared Leto as the main antagonist. It was made on a reported budget of $170 million, whereas Insidious 6 has an estimated budget of $18 million. The big-budget Jared Leto movie collected just $113.8 million at the worldwide box office.

Thus, Insidious: Out of the Further is less than $3 million away from surpassing the worldwide haul of Masters of the Universe. According to Box Office Mojo, Masters of the Universe is the #35 highest-grossing film of 2026 worldwide. The low-budget horror movie is at #36 and, in no time, will beat Masters of the Universe and break into 2026’s top 35 grossers worldwide.
