Sidharth Malhotra’s Yodha has been sticking to the box office plan ever since it opened. While the film collected 4.25 crore on the opening day, it maintained a gradual growing pace at the box office, bringing a weekend of 17.51 crore to the table.
Now, the film has witnessed a not-so-surprising and expected drop on the first Monday, which is a positive sign for the aerial action film.
As per the early trends, Yodha managed to collect in a decent range of 2 – 2.5 crore on the first Monday, and this drop was expected after a decent weekend. The film might hit the 20 crore mark or miss it by an inch by Monday.

A Good Growth On Sunday
Yodha witnessed considerable growth on Sunday as it jumped from 6.01 crore on Saturday to 7.25 crore on the first Sunday, taking the weekend total to 17.5 crore. However, this was a Holiday bump, and things were expected to slow down on Monday.
The Magic Of BOGO
Buy One Get One offer on the tickets gave one more reason to watch the film and also helped accelerate the pace at the box office. However, currently, the film is only dependent on the spot bookings, and there is no demand or need for an advance booking.
Battling With Shaitaan
The numbers for Yodha could have been slightly better if there had been a free field for them to play. However, there is a certain amount of resistance by Ajay Devgn‘s Shaitaan, which sticks to the ground after a week and churns out good numbers on its second weekend as well.
Sidharth Malhotra Impressing With The Vardi
While Sid first explored the power of Uniform with Aiyyari, it was with Shershaah that he arrived as the much-needed valor boy for the big screen. He nailed playing Captain Vikram Batra and is being loved as a soldier gone rogue for the nation in Yodha, produced by Dharma Productions and helmed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre.
The film also stars Rashi Khanna and Disha Patani in the lead roles, Tanuj Virwani and Sunny Hinduja in supporting roles, and Ronit Roy in a special role. The aerial action film expects to put up a 30 crore collection in its first week.
