Earlier, the Hindi-dubbed version was expected to stay below 20 crore on the first day, but given the superb pre-sales response, predictions shifted to the 35-40 crore range. Demolishing the new predictions, the magnum opus came out of the syllabus by scoring a mammoth 50 crore+ at the Indian box office on day 1, leaving everyone stunned. How much did Toxic (Hindi) earn at the Indian box office on day 1?

The period gangster action thriller had the crazy hype on the ground level, which everyone failed to sense. Especially in the mass centers, there was an undercurrent stemming from Yash’s presence that led to an explosion yesterday. Besides rocking advance bookings, the film also benefited from strong over-the-counter ticket sales boosted by the Eid-e-Milad holiday. It also benefited from the strong show count of 17,000+ and higher ticket rates.

With a strong occupancy throughout the day, Toxic (Hindi) scored an outstanding 55 crore net at the Indian box office, which is beyond everyone’s imagination. It equals 64.9 crore gross. Apart from the big cities, the film witnessed tremendous response in tier-2 and tier-3 centers. It also had impressive footfalls in interiors, explaining the strong reach Yash has generated through his larger-than-life persona of KGF Chapter 2.

Makes history with the biggest opening for a standalone South film

With 55 crore, Toxic (Hindi) has created history by registering the biggest opening for a standalone South film in Hindi, surpassing Saaho (24.4 crore). Overall, it has recorded the 2nd biggest Hindi opening for a South film after Pushpa 2 (72 crore).
