Toxic Box Office Day 1 Morning Occupancy
According to the latest update, Toxic has registered a morning occupancy of 77.69% on day 1 in the Kannada belt. It has set new benchmarks for Sandalwood, as no other release of 2026 has managed to grab so many eyeballs on its opening day. The trends are only expected to improve during the afternoon and evening shows, as the advance bookings surpassed all expectations nationwide.
Geetu Mohandas’ directorial has also begun its box office journey on a promising note in the other versions. It saw a morning occupancy of 57.08% in Telugu, 37.85% in Hindi, and 45.25% in Tamil. A thunderous opening is definitely on the cards for the gangster film.

Toxic vs KGF Chapter 2 Box Office Day 1
Back in 2022, KGF Chapter 2 registered an occupancy of 84.48% during the morning shows in the homeground, Sandalwood. The admissions improved to 90.73% during the afternoon, 94.75% during the evening, and 96.91% in the night shows.
Despite no sequel benefit, Toxic has given a tough fight to KGF Chapter 2, staying slightly lower. The signs are all positive in terms of box office trends. So far, so good!
