Secures a solid showcasing across India
The upcoming period gangster action thriller is all set to witness a grand theatrical release across the country, thanks to strong showcasing in the Hindi market. The Hindi version has secured 11,195 shows so far, which is really impressive. Such a show count for Hindi has pushed the film’s overall show count to 14,104. With Irumudi running successfully in the Telugu market, the final showcasing in the Telugu states is yet to come. So, the final show count will be higher than the current number.
Toxic grosses 24 crore+ through day 1 advance bookings
Coming to the advance booking update of day 1, Toxic has sold 6.4 lakh tickets (excluding blocked seats) across all languages. Out of 6.4 lakh tickets, the Hindi version has contributed the biggest share with 3.33 lakh tickets (including standard 2D and premium formats). It is followed by the original Kannada version with 2.64 lakh tickets (including standard 2D and premium formats). The ticket sales for the Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam versions total 42K+.

In terms of collections, Toxic has grossed a solid 24.27 crore at the Indian box office through day 1 advance bookings. This is a strong number, and with still two more days to go, the final number will comfortably cross the 30 crore mark. It’ll be interesting to see if it touches 35 or 40 crore as pre-sales usually pick up more in the final days.
Surpasses final day 1 pre-sales of Jana Nayagan
With 24.27 crore gross, the Yash starrer has surpassed Jana Nayagan (22.26 crore) to register the 2nd best opening-day advance bookings for an Indian film in 2026. Dhurandhar 2 (53 crore) will stay unbeaten at the top.
