Nani’s The Paradise was undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated films of the year. The film’s promotions were on a massive scale. The audience was also deeply excited about the film, which was reflected in its advance bookings and opening-day collections. However, the film began to lose steam after its Day 1 reviews came in. The reviews did not match the anticipation surrounding it. Now, the film is struggling to reach the safe zone as well.
How Much Did The Paradise Earn At The Indian Box Office In 16 Days?
The Telugu film has wrapped up two weeks at the box office and has now started its third week. On its third Friday, the film earned just 50 lakh against 518 shows. The net collection of Nani‘s film after 16 days stands at 119.54 crore, which equals 141.06 crore gross. Overseas, the film has earned just 31.15 crore in gross so far. This brings its worldwide total to 172.21 crore.
Interestingly, the film crashed in its second week by a huge margin. In its opening week, The Paradise earned 108.2 crore, while in its second week, it earned just 10.83 crore. This was a 90% drop in collections compared to its opening week.

Now, with the number of shows dropping significantly in its third week, the film is looking at recovering less than 70% of its budget. As per Koimoi parameters, it will end up as a losing affair at the Indian box office.
