Without premieres, it amassed close to 35 crore net on day 1, and yesterday, it remained just below the 15 crore mark. This is an alarming sign for sure, especially considering the high costs involved, but overall, numbers have been decent so far at the Indian box office. The Telugu action thriller saw an expected big drop on its first Friday, day 2, with 14.9 crore coming in. Compared to day 1’s 34.65 crore (excluding premieres), it declined by 57%. It had the benefit of a partial holiday in the Telugu states, but since reviews and public feedback have been unfavorable, the film saw a decline.

Overall, The Paradise has earned 61.15 crore net at the Indian box office, which equals 72.16 crore gross. From here, even if it maintains a steady pace, it’ll comfortably enter the 100 crore club (net) by the end of the 4-day extended opening weekend.
