The Lion King Box Office Day 1 Advance Booking: This Jon Favreau directorial has already been gaining a lot of praises in the International market, and now is making the noise at the Indian ticket windows too. The pre-release buzz has been great and why not when there’s superstar Shah Rukh Khan along with son Aryan dubbing the Hindi version! Moreover, sensational singers like Sunidhi Chauhan and Armaan Malik are also associated.

Now, talking about advance booking, here’s how the movie is trending in major cities:

Mumbai:

Talking about the media hub, while the critics’ reviews are already out and are majorly in favour, the Hindi, Hindi 2D, 3D and advanced versions are lower in comparison to the English ones. The overall booking in Hindi lies with around 50-55% filling fast shows, while that of English is around 60-65% which is amongst the best Hollywood bookings of this year.

Delhi & NCR:

Shah Rukh Khan’s star power seem to be impacting the city as Hindi versions in the capital region are clearly ruling over the English versions. All in all, around 40-45% shows are filling fast in the area considering the English version, in terms of Hindi; it’s around 55-60%.

Hyderabad:

The movie will open in Telugu, Hindi & English In Hyderabad. While the shows are almost full in Telugu 3D which smashing range of around 75-80% shows filling fast, in case of English versions – the shows are filling even in better way with 80-85% shows booked. Hindi however, is great too with almost 50-55% shows in oranges (filling fast).

Bangalore:

In the limited screening alloted for Telugu, Hindi and Tamil versions, barely 15% shows are filling fast.

Contributions in terms of the English versions are as massive as 90-95% shows in oranges.

Chennai, Kolkata, Pune:

Chennai is witnessing a tremendous craze too with approximately 55-60% shows almost full; Kolkata on the other hand, is comparatively low with only 30-35% shows in oranges.

Pune despite being a city where major bookings happen on-spot, the trend is great with almost 35-40% shows filling fast.
