Hrithik Roshan starrer Super 30 is now just a few days away from release and it’s going to be a big day for his fans. HR’s last film Kaabil released at the Box Office in 2017 and was a hit. Now we are hoping the same from Super 30 as well.
While a bumper opening for the film will be tough, we hope it finds a place in Hrithik’s Top 5 openers at least. Once the film manages a double-digit opening, a positive word of mouth can come in play and make the film a success.
Meanwhile, let’s go back in history and have a look at the Top 10 openers of Hrithik.
1. Bang Bang
Hrithik Roshan & Katrina Kaif’s action romantic film Bang Bang released worldwide on October 2, 2014. Despite the clash with another major film Haider, Bang Bang raked an opening of 27.54 crores all India and still remains his highest opener of All Time.
2. Krrish 3
The 3rd part of Hrithik Roshan’s superhero franchise, Krrish 3 released on Diwali 2013 and took a very good start. The film earned 24.25 crores (all India) on its opening day.
Agneepath released in 2012, took a flying start at the box office as it released on Republic Day that year. The film was also the highest all-time opener of that time.
Starring Hrithik Roshan & Yami Gautam, Kaabil clashed with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees. Less screen space hampered the opening collections of the film but it still managed a decent number of 10.43 crores.
The Greek God look of HR created magic and made many female fans go crazy who stormed the cinemas. Though the film flopped at the box office, this 2010 release took a bumper start that year and collected 10.25 crores on its opening day.
6. Mohenjo Daro
One of the most ambitious projects of Hrithik’s career and yet one of the most disappointing film, Mohenjo Daro opened to a not so bad response. It collected 8.87 crores on its first day despite a clash with Rustom. The bad content, however, proved to be a bigger roadblock which didn’t let the movie go far.
7. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
One of the most loved films of Hrithik Roshan, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara released in 2011 and earned 7.89 crores on opening day. The film also starring Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif & Kalki Koechlin was a sleeper hit.
Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan gave India its own superhero with Krrish. The film was a turning point in the superhero genre in India. It earned 5.97 crores on its opening day.
9. Dhoom 2
The sequel of YRF’s monstrous hit Dhoom featured Hrithik Roshan as the main antagonist and like its name it created “Dhoom” at the Box Office. The film also starring Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan & Uday Chopra opened to a huge response and earned 5.75 crores on its first day back in 2006.
Hrithik Roshan-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali came together for Guzaarish in 2010. The film was a disappointment and could collect just 4.05 crores on its opening day.
