Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan Box Office Predictions: 2019 was a remarkable year for Ayushmann Khurrana as he scored a hat-trick of successes in the form of Article 15, Dream Girl and Bala. Even before that he had given four back to back successes between 2017 and 2018, which indicates the kind of winning streak that he has been enjoying. Picking his scripts quite well and working on one new subject after another, he is seeing critical appreciation as well as commercial success.
Now the same is expected from Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, co-led by Jitendra Kumar as well which is exploring a taboo subject but is still being presented as a family flick, a combination which is actually quite tough to achieve. One waits to see how producer Aanand L Rai has managed that here but rest assured, it’s Ayushmann Khurrana’s standing as a bonafide star that should help the opening numbers at least.

Had this been a regular feel-good entertainer for the families, the opening may have been even bigger. However, for now, a first day in 7-8 crores range is on the cards. If family audiences actually pick this one well then evening and night shows could result in even higher footfalls.
