In its second week, Jai Ho was the preferred choice of the audience as it added further 20 crore in its kitty. With no major competition around it and the collections being stable, albeit on a lower side, the film managed to cross the 100 crore mark. Currently it stands at around 107 crores mark after its two week run and may just chug along for a few more days till the arrival of Gunday.

One By Two has turned out to be a complete washout at the box office, what with just around 2.5 crore coming in its first week run. As things stand today, the film would fall short of 3 crore lifetime, which is a pity considering the fact that it was reasonably promoted. In fact for Abhay Deol too, this must be a huge shock because he would have certainly expected these to be the collections on Day One, and not lifetime.

Of course one wasn’t expecting great jump from the film in terms of footfalls, considering the fact that it was aimed at a niche urban multiplex visiting audience. However with that segment of audience shunning the film as well, it was a game of no-show from the very beginning. Very disappointing.

    • So 100 cr plus movie is flop now??? Really haters are clutching at straws. It has underperformed by Salmans standards not any other actors. For anyone else these collections would be seen as good, examples Don2 and talaash did less business

      • dont compare with movies released 2011 ..compare with CE and dhoom 3…2011 the screen counts were very less compared to jai ho screen counts which is nearly 4500 to 5000…it is not flop but it is way below expectation thats why people call it as flop…

  1. so jail ho cross 300cr mark since tiket price has been reduced 1/3 in india therefor collection will be 105*3= 315 wow!!!! more over jail ho has been released in youtube before film release, so business has been affected by around 80cr, that mean 315+80= 395cr just wowwww, sallu bhai has again showed his unbelieveable star power, jail ho will be the first film to cross 400cr in india wowwww!!!! in overseas jail ho price has been reduced 1/5 that means 36*5= 180cr wow mindboggling!!!! so worldwide collection would be 395+180= 575cr O M G !!!! now we have to accept that script or director is not needed for bhojpuri bhai. and bhai roxxxxx

    • Jai is biggest flop of 2014..ticket price was 700 in multiplexes..and screen was nearly 4500 to 5000…it shud have easily touched some 250cr…problem is not ticket price ..here problem is same movie story same action copy of stalin..you cant fool the audience everytime..sallu plz do some classic movies like CDI, my name is khan and then in between do some masala flicks..everytime copy of south movie is not done sallu..my advise to sallu do some different movie and in between do some south flick…but one difficult in classic movie you need to act well LOL..
