Fugly performed averagely in its opening weekend at the Domestic Box Office. The film collected 2.85 crores on its first Friday. Surprisingly, the opening was better than previous releases such as Citylights and Filmistaan even though both the films had been lauded by the critics and earned audience appreciation.

On its first Saturday, Fugly picked up to a small extent. It collected a decent 3.00 crores on its second day. The two days total for this film is now 5.85 crores at the domestic box office. The film is expected to rake in more numbers on Sunday and have an average first weekend.

Fugly performed good mainly in the North circuit. It was well received mainly in Delhi and UP, where as Mumbai remained dull for this film. The film starring all debutantes also had to bear the brunt of Akshay Kumar’s Holiday which has been performing extremely well at the box office.
