Lokesh Kanagaraj’s acting debut, DC, has completed 3 weeks at the box office. The film is already a hit at the box office. Now, the film has slowed down and may not be able to achieve further milestones. DC is currently the third-highest-grossing film of Wamiqa Gabbi’s career. Earlier, it seemed to be on track to surpass her Hindi film Bhool Chuk Maaf. But now it seems unlikely.

Overseas, the film has earned 23.3 crore, which brings the worldwide total to 103.12 crore gross.

DC To Not Surpass Bhool Chuk Maaf
Earlier, it was expected that DC would surpass Bhool Chuk Maaf and become Wamiqa Gabbi‘s 2nd-highest-grossing film. However, at the current pace, it is unlikely that DC would achieve it. Wamiqa’s 2025 Hindi release, starring Rajkummar Rao, had earned 74.81 crore net during its theatrical run in India. DC is still 7.17 crore away from surpassing the Hindi film. DC earned in the 6-crore range in its third week, and collections will drop in its fourth week. The film will then start its OTT streaming journey. With this, the film’s chances of surpassing Bhool Chuk Maa are very slim.
