The movie is reportedly tracking to earn around $11-$15 million at the North American box office in its opening weekend. It is less than half of Space Jam 2: A New Legacy, the previous Looney Tunes movie, which is $31.05 million. It might not be the best start, but with a decent one, such a strong rating, and strong word of mouth, it could emerge as a big blockbuster.
The report further reveals that Coyote vs Acme is expected to earn around $5.7 million on its opening day, Friday, at the North American box office. It is, however, expected to land at #3 in the domestic box office rankings. The Looney Tunes movie will have to fight The Dog Stars for the spot, and the former’s strong rating gives it an edge.
